Seems like xauth.

Really seems like xauth. Great. If your university offers this over the
wireless, anyone can pretend to be the ipsec gateway and start collecting
student's passwords......

If you mean Openswan, you can if running the latest (2.3.0dr5). It supports
XAUTH.
