[Openswan Users] Debug traffic not being forwarded

Hello,

I've setup OpenSwan with L2TP on two Ubuntu 14.04 machines on different provides, using the same configuration, on random provider A the VPN works as expected, traffic get routed through the connection and everyone is happy.

However for Provider B which turns out to be Google Compute Engine (GCE) it turns out that the same config doesn't work as expected, I can connect to the VPN and ping clients and ssh into clients just fine, however traffic to the WAN is not getting routed, I believe this might have to do with the routing on GCE however I'm not sure how to debug packages not getting routed.

Does anyone here have any suggestion on how to debug packages not getting forwarded?
