[Openswan Users] IPSEC poor Speed performance

Hello,
I have two Images one with IPSEC enabled and other no IPSEC enabled.
for IPSEC Image without running ipsec(pluto) the iperf can measure only 40
Mbps
normal Image without IPSEC can give speed upto 88Mbps.
I am not sure why IPSEC kernel Image is causing speed lag.
