That is bad advice. Please do not recommend that people disable a very 
important security feature. Do you also advise that people disable 
anti-virus software and the firewall on a Windows box?

Walter: leave SELinux enabled. If there is an SELinux problem then it 
will be found and it will be fixed. Since it is unclear what the problem 
exactly is, you need to provide your configs (without the passwords), 
logs and type of endpoints (phone?) you are trying to connect.
