Why l2tp does not meet this limitation? Is it because it uses transport mode 
instead of tunnel mode?

What are the drawbacks of switching to l2tp except the time to setup the 
xl2tpd server? (I use openswan-2.4.) Will I lose support for multiple clients 
behind same NAT or anything else?
