What is the error in your sonicwall log.

Depending on your sonicwall version:
Check your Sonicwall System->Diagnostics->"Active
connections Monitor" to verify a) the connection is
logged and b) the tx and rx bytes counters are
increasing  c) the src and dst interfaces are correct.

Also check user configuration Users->Local
Users->Configure->VPN Access->access-list to make sure
that access to the particular protected network has
been granted to the user.
