I Have been trying to setup openswan for IPSEC tunnel between a linux
(opensuse 10.3) and Windows XP host. I have been attempting to do this after
following the guide located at
http://natecarlson.com/linux/ipsec-x509.php#clientwin
I have come to halt i followed the guide while making the modifications i
thought were needed along the way(ips, file names, and so on), but when i try
and ping from the windows host i get "Negotiating IP Security " for all the
pings i try. And the linux host never gets a successful ping either.
I found several sites telling me to do an ipsec barf command for
troubleshooting......i have attached the documents that i found to be
necessary. This is my test environment in VMware Server. Attached are the
barf output in txt format..... a copy of the ipsec.secrets file, the windows
ipsec.conf file ... and a ipsec verify command txt file.
Please any help at all would be really appreciated....im stuck and would
like to resolve this ASAP.... any help at all is grateful.
