[Openswan Users] Running Linux Openswan client.

Hi All,

I have a linux client running Strongswan, trying to connect to Openswan 2.4.7/NETKEY ruuning on kernel 2.6.18.

As a backgroung info, I have had window roadwarrior clients running for a while now. No problem at all. I now have this Linux Strongswan client that I have tried to configure as L2TP client with instruction from http://www.jacco2.dds.nl/networking/linux-l2tp.html.

I got the tunel up and running but I could not get the l2tp to connect to the far side (openswan vpn server with xl2tpd version 1.1.05). On the client, I have Strongswan "Linux strongSwan U4.1.1/K2.6.20" with xl2tp version 1.1.09. I have tried various configuration without luck. 

Has anyone try the same configuration or get Linux client running in l2tp format?

I can post more configuration if needed.
