Sorry for that ambiguous post.
I am using 3DES encryption. I have a line esp=3DES-md5-96 in the oipconfig
file.
So now I want to use sha1 hash in place of md5.
So is it ok if I just change the entry to esp=3DES-sha1-96.
What does 96 stands for.
What is hash function doing in this case. It is used to verifying purpose?
