<div>Sorry for that ambiguous post.</div>
<div>I am using 3DES encryption. I have a line esp=3DES-md5-96 in the oipconfig file.</div>
<div>So now I want to use sha1 hash in place of md5.</div>
<div>So is it ok if I just change the entry to esp=3DES-sha1-96.</div>
<div>What does 96 stands for. </div>
<div>What is hash function doing in this case. It is used to verifying purpose?<br><br> </div>
