Paul,
I have had some weird issues with the 2.6.12 kernel and natt. So I
was wondering if there was a specific 2.6.12 that should be used, or if
there was anyone who also had these issues? Everything builds fine but I
get the following errors when trying to start the service:
[root at test200 ~]# service ipsec restart
ipsec_setup: /usr/lib/ipsec/_realsetup: line 102: 26526 Segmentation
fault ipsec klipsdebug --none
ipsec_setup: /usr/lib/ipsec/_realsetup: line 102: 26527 Segmentation
fault ipsec eroute --clear
ipsec_setup: /usr/lib/ipsec/_realsetup: line 102: 26528 Segmentation
fault ipsec spi --clear
ipsec_setup: Stopping Openswan IPsec...
ipsec_setup: /usr/lib/ipsec/_realsetup: line 102: 26634 Segmentation
fault ipsec klipsdebug --none
ipsec_setup: /usr/lib/ipsec/_realsetup: line 102: 26635 Segmentation
fault ipsec eroute --clear
My original build from source 2.6.12.6 this happened on each version of
2.4.2, 2.4.4, and 2.4.5. I tried also the FC4 update kernel for 2.6.12
and had the same issues with 2.4.5. I was considering building klips
into the kernel instead of as a module, but wanted to touch base with
you before that.
Do you think building klips into the kernel instead of as a module would
help in getting around the errors (it didn't show the _startklips errors
this time, but also errors out on that as well as _realsetup).
Thanks,
Trevor
