Hi all,

i'am trying to install nat traversal patch on a 2.4.27 kernel. I have seen here http://wiki.openswan.org/index.php/BuildingFromTarballsFor2/4 that i have to do:

 make nattpatch | (cd /usr/src/linux && patch -p1)
 make KERNELSRC=/usr/src/linux precheck verset kpatch

but that my kernel should have been compiled at least one time before.

On openswan website, it is possible to download openswan-2.4.7.kernel-2.4-natt.patch. Can i only use this patch? And just apply it before compilation?

If not, why is this patch available?
Thanks a lot for your help.
