I realise that there's a step missing there. After editing the SPEC file
to include the KLIPS and NAT-T patches, run this command again:

rpmbuild -bp –target i686 ~/rpmbuild/SPECS/kernel-2.6.spec


That will then apply the patches and the missing options should show up
in the xconfig dialogue.
