I strongly recommend using xl2tpd, our l2tpd fork, if you want to be able
to have L2TP clients work properply. xl2tpd is the only l2tpd daemon that
currently supports multiple L2TP clients behind the same NAT router, and
multiple L2TP clients behind different NAT routers using the same internal
(virtual) IP.

Though you could port the patches to l2tpd. The Fedora Extras l2tpd is
in fact xl2tpd apart from its name.
