Hi all,

Having some odd problems with an openswan gateway I've just set up. I
thought it could have been shorewall but have now eliminated that from the
equation. Debian sarge, vanilla 2.4.31 kernel with kernel-openswan-patch
packages.

The SA is established. I have run tcpdump on the ipsec0 interface.
Output is like:
23:49:27.919154 IP 192.168.0.190 > 192.168.168.10: icmp 40: echo request
seq 12032
23:49:28.353554 IP 192.168.0.190 > 192.168.168.10: icmp 40: echo request
seq 12288
23:49:33.448374 IP 192.168.0.190 > 192.168.168.10: icmp 40: echo request
seq 12544
23:49:38.453176 IP 192.168.0.190 > 192.168.168.10: icmp 40: echo request
seq 12800

So I can see that the ping packets are being passed to the intended
recipient, but no responses are received. Please can you advise?

Antony
