Cool. This is better than Windows (defaults to 3DES and MD5).

This is not a hostname problem, otherwise it would have said "Specify your
hostname". Perhaps another l2tpd patch is screwing things up. I'll have to
check. Unfortunately I only have Mac OS X 10.3 and not 10.4 to test it with.

Are you sure it is not a firewall problem of some sort? What distribution are
you using? SuSE?
