[Openswan Users] Packet flow diagram question

Hi,
Has anybody got a copy of packet flow diagram between ipsecX and ethX interfaces ?
server lists.freeswan.org where leads link from Howto is not responding.
If I understand well in ipsec tunel all data on ipsecX should be decrypted and on ethX decrypted.
Am I right ?
When I sniff my connection on eth1, I see outgoing packets encrypted and incoming decrypted,
same on both nodes of tunel.
