[Openswan Users] Kernel 2.6 and opsenswan 2.x

I have solved the issues I have with hub and spokes, and read through
the Fun with iproute2 and freeswan.  I am wondering if I move from
kernel 2.4 and openswan 1.0.3 to kernel 2.6 and openswan 2.x does this
change?

I have read conflicting information regarding how the kernel ipsec
implementation changes how routing or iptables might work.  Does anyone
use the Fun with iproute2 document with a 2.6 kernel?
