I got the following error:
"Error: Peer x.x.x.x is not authorized to create a tunnel"
But when I added "mask 0" it did work. Thanks for bringing this to
my attention.

With the 2.3.0 developers release you're really on the cutting edge.
I haven't tested it myself yet. I don't know if it has been tested
with L2TP at all. Or NAT-T in transport mode for that matter.
