Hi, just went through the same situation. My issue was because the vpn host had a secondary ip address instead of the primary. Xl2tpd are responding via the primary ip which the client will not accept. Adding listen-addr = <secondary ip> to /etc/xl2tpd/xl2tpd.conf in the global section fixed it. Regards Kristoffer
