Yes, Ubuntu 9.10 (not sure what version of Buntu Whit is usiong) is at 
openswan 2.6.22.

I wasn't taking issue with what you wrote; I recall Whit mentioning he's 
using Ubuntu, and I thought it would be helpful to warn him of the 
pitfall that I fell into...
