Oh wow, I messed up my dates. I posted that issue 6/10/2010 at 12:18AM

For what it's worth, I tried something similar a few months ago with
2.6.25 and 2.4.(I forget the exact release) and they had an awful time
getting along. I finally had to upgrade the 2.4.nnn system to the
current version to get the tunnel reasonably reliable. I'm pretty sure
I posted the details to this list. It would have been early February I
think?

Using excel for email? I guess you mean old servers with 2.4.15 and new
ones with 2.6.27
