The script has seen a lot of work, though that's not always visible. It should
be fully backwards compatible, but note that you might not be able to change
stacks properly. But I don't think you do that anyway.

You can likely stick with 2.4.9 as well, but I am not sure. Check the CHANGES
file for any l2tp related bugfixes between the two versions.
