[Openswan Users] we require peer to have ID '<ip address>', but peer declares '@y.xx.com'

I am using FQDN to connect to a cisco device. I configured right=y.xx.com in my ipsec.conf. Openswan seems to make contact with the cisco device, but connection fails with the following message.

we require peer to have ID '<ip address.', but peer declares '@y.xx.com'.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
