[Openswan Users] to (use) Klips or not ?

Hello,
  I am a newbie to openswan.
I use kernel 2.6.31.5 of fedora 12.

I am hesitating between using openswan with klips (building the
ipsec.ko thus:make KERNELSRC=/usr/src/linux-2.6 programs module) or
using it with the fedora kernel  ipsec.ko module.

Could anybody please say, in some sentences, the advantages and
disadvantages of using KLIPS ipsec.ko over using the non KLIKPS
original ipsec.ko module ? \
