Hello,
I have openswan 2.4.9 and I use klips, but I have problem with sa, same openswan 2.6.22.
You got patch for sa leak for openswan 2.6. 
Please guide me if patch is for openswan 2.4, because I shouldn`t upgrade openswan 2.4 to openswan 2.6.
Please send for me resolve if there is.
