Hi, I have read the post with subject "XP ok but Vista - cannot respond to
IPsec SA request because no connection is known for" but also without
righsubnet parameter the result isn't changed.
My ipsec.conf is this:

config setup
interfaces="ipsec0=eth0"
virtual_private=%v4:192.168.0.0/16,%v4:172.16.0.0/12,%v4:!10.0.0.0/24
nat_traversal=yes
conn %default
authby=rsasig
conn left-road
auto=add
authby=secret
pfs=no
rekey=no
left=85.18.z.k
leftnexthop=85.18.z.p
leftprotoport=17/1701
right=%any
rightprotoport=17/1701
rightsubnet=vhost:%no,%priv
include /etc/ipsec.d/examples/no_oe.conf

and my xl2tpd.conf is:

[global]
listen-addr = 10.0.0.139
port = 1701
[lns default]
ip range = 10.0.0.83-10.0.0.85
local ip = 10.0.0.252
require chap = yes
refuse pap = yes
require authentication = yes
name = localhost
ppp debug = yes
pppoptfile = /etc/ppp/options.l2tpd
length bit = yes

..with xp I haven't problem.
Thanks.

   Salvatore.
