[Openswan Users] ipsec starts with warning "cannot adjust KLIPS flags"

Hi,

when I start openswan 2.6.22 there is this warning:

ipsec_setup: Starting Openswan IPsec 2.6.22...
ipsec_setup: WARNING: cannot adjust KLIPS flags, no /proc/sys/net/ 
ipsec directory!
---->8----

What does this mean? The directory /proc/sys/net is available and  
contains some files.
I'm using Kernel 2.6.30 and compiled openswan with default options.
