I am also running a minimal distribution. I removed "xmlto" from the following line in /packaging/suse/openswan.spec

line 32: BuildRequires: gmp-devel bison flex bind-devel xmlto

Subject: [Openswan Users] XMLTO

Is there a compile
option to stop documentation from being built when compiling OpenSWAN
2.6.21. I am running OpenSWAN on a minimal distribution and do not have
(and really have no need for xmlto). I've spent the last two hours trying
to compile dependencies for this package (w3m browser, lynx,
etc).

On another note, is
there any reason that xmlto is used in the first place? It seems silly to
me that I would need to install all of this unnecessary software to compile
openswan. Isn't it more desirable to have less software installed on a
machine (especially one which is providing security functions for a
network)?
