[Openswan Users] uncover the mystery about kernel patching?

re

I've noticed for some times now that it's quite "hard" get Openswan /
KLIPS and NAT-T working with newer kernels. Last night I've also give it
another try patching vanilla 2.6.29.5 kernel with openswan 2.6.22
klips/nat-t patches but without any success. Are there any guidelines
what's "working" for sure and which patches are "apply-able" to which
2.6.x stock kernels?

Thanks in advance,
 Andraz
