Dear Paul,

in my previous mail I sent you the complete log after execute "ip service
restart". The real log after reboot is the attached one where you'll see the
tunnel didn't go up.

Can you run with these options and reboot and show us the logfile?

 	plutodebug=all
 	plutostderrlog=/tmp/startonbootfails.log

they go into ipsec.conf in the "config setup" section.

I assume this is a machine with ethernet, and not with some kind of
dynamic connection (eg wifi via network-manager?)
