[Openswan Users] packet loss after establishing the openswan ipsec

Hi,
I have a problem, after establishing the openswan ipsec vpn, i found a huge
packet loss. so can anyone tell me what might be the reason?
Another question is, what might be the difference in using the preshared
keys and rsa keys to authenticate the vpn connections?
