I run openswan (2.6.13 now that I upgraded from 2.6.9) on pair of FC8 boxes with no nat-t patch on the default kernel that FC8 came with (2.6.23.1.42 fc8)
I have a need to patch the kernel now with NAT-T patch as one of our remote site HAS to have a VPN box behind NAT so I tried doing that and none of the nat-t patch works not even the one specific to 2.6.23 kernel.
I think the problem is with fc8 kernel though and not openswan patch because on a vanilla kernel I download from web (2.6.23) it works.
anyone have any suggestions, I'd like to be running same kernel if I can, I got other programs (vmware all that) working fine and I don't want to screw with that.
# ls -l 2.6.23.1-42.fc8-i686/net/ipv4/udp.c
ls: cannot access 2.6.23.1-42.fc8-i686/net/ipv4/udp.c: No such file or directory
All NAT-T pached want this file so thats kind of important but fc8 kernel is missing it looks like.
