[Openswan Users] 3des with cbc

I am trying to get 3des and aes working with cbc

 

>From the ipsec.conf i have tried the following for the esp field:

 

esp=3des_cbc-sha1 and  esp=aes_cbc-md5

 

Both syntax complain 021 no connection named "<Name of Connection>", if
I change the esp back to something like 3des-md5-96 on both config files
everything works ok.

 

 

Using    Redhat 5

            kernel 2.6.18 

            openswan 2.4.8

 

Is cbc supported in 2.4.8 or do i have the wrong syntax?
