[Openswan Users] openswan-2.4.7-kernel-2.6.19.1 compile error

Happy new year list!

I am in the process of trying to build a vanilla 2.6.19.1 kernel
(sources obtained from kernel.org) with KLIPS and openswan 2.4.7.
During the kernel build process I get the following error:

I examined the file and line number indicated above, and cannot see a
problem with it.  I have searched the globe via Google etc for any
indication of a solution, but there are zero hits for the specific error
message listed above.  Any nudges in the right direction would be
greatly appreciated!  Thanks for your time!
