Hi,

I am implementing IPsec using openswan with snapgear linux on one end
and windows XP at the other end . I am using net-to-net configuration
for this. But i am only able to ping from the windows PC which sends the
ESP packets to the other end.But from the other end where openswan is
configured i am not able to ping to the windows system.I configured the
windows machine using secpol.msc.

Please can anybody tell me what configuration should i do to work at the
both ends. Should i use road warrior for this type of connection ???
What is the difference between the road warrior connection and the
net-to-net configuration ???

While configuring openswan we modprobe various modules like
1. af_key
2. ah4
3. esp4
4. ipcomp
5. xfrm_user

Can anyone please tell me what are those modules for??? . i could not
understand it clearly .

Thanks and Regards,
Karthik
