Paul, thanks for your answer.

When you talk about binary package, are you talking about RPM or as I'm
using Fedora 5, Yum Package?

I tried "yum install openswan-klips" as documented on Openswan page and this
package doesn't exist.

You don't have a c compiler installed. Install the neccessary gcc packages
on your
system, or install the binary package of openswan for your linux system.
