[Openswan Users] No route

I have some problems to start my VPN.
 
I established connection between to peers but when I look on ifconfig ipsec0 
isn't present.
 
When I try to add a route, using the command below:
 
route add -net 10.168.4.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 dev ipsec0
 
Mandrake 10.2 3.4.3-3 answer that device doesn't exist.
 
What is happening?
