[Openswan Users] IPSEC connectivity prob

would it be a better idea to try run the routers as a modems with pppoe
software on the freeswan boxes?

freeswan does not support this port forwarded setup. Even openswan does
not support this yet. Patches for this are still pending review and
inclusion.
