Hi,

I am still here.

I have tried both Paul Wouters's solution (Ithink that this is the right way, there should be something weird with my ipsecconfig):

> If that is really the loaded connection, then perhaps your virtual_privateis in the way.

> Can you disable nat_traversal and the virtual private line and therightsubnet and see if that works?

and Jacco de Leeuw's (I think I will haveto worry about l2tp in a later step anyway):

>L2TP/IPsec is not supported out of the box by IPCop. It is still indevelopment. See also:>http://www.elminster.com/xoops/modules/phpwiki/index.php/IpcopL2tpRemoteAccessServer

but the error is still there:

 Mar 30 09:28:55 ipcop pluto[5304]:"Laptop"[1] 192.168.1.108 #1: cannot respond to IPsec SA requestbecause no connection is known for 192.168.1.100[C=UK, O=Initiative, CN=initiative.localdomain]:17/1701...192.168.1.108[C=UK,O=Initiative, CN=Piero Laptop]:17/1701

What's the next step? (I HOPE there is anext step!)

Piero
