Strange, it should provide ipsec-userland. I'll look into this.

Odd, so then it does find ipsec-userland?

you didn't do a custom compile? If you are running the binary kernel
package, then I don't understand what happened. Can you try to do a
manual 'modprobe ipsec' and see what happens?

We haven't tested things with FC2 kernels, but we didn't expect problems.
If you do not want the KLIPS stack, but are happy to use the NETKEY stack,
you do not need the openswan-klips package.
