It means one end did not recognise the other end's vendorid message. These
messages are used to announce features or vendor/versions to the other end.
In this case, openswan sends one that the openswan on the other end does not
know. Likely one openswan is compiled with the option to send its vendorid,
and the other side is not. You can safely ignore this.

It means it is not sending an X.509 to the other end as part of the negoation.
This warning should probably only be displayed when debugging is enabled. It
can also be safely ignored (unless you intended to use X.509 and your
connection fails producing this error)
