[Openswan Users] Information about Openswan

Hello,  

    I need an information about an OpensWan in a Fedora Core 4 kernel 
2.6.11.

    For example...!

    The (interfaces="ipsec0=eth1") option in /etc/ipsec.conf is setting.
 
    1 ) Why can't I obtain the ipsec0, ipsec1... interface when I 
execute a ifconfig command on linux?

    2 ) How can I execute a ping from GATEWAY A to a box behind GATEWAY 
B? Is it possible?
