First, the documentation doesn't always help everyone at all times.
If this were 2000, then I'd agree that wiki's are too weird for most
people. It now being 2004, I find them to be a very useful addition to
a project.
>> Paul, is that possible on the current openswan.org host?
Paul> Possible, but I'm hesistant to be hosting something where

Paul> false reports or honest mistakes.
Wiki's can have strong authentication, or very weak.
They also support revision control, and one can roll back changes that
are inappropriate.
I've never set one up, so perhaps I should just do that here.
Paul> I also got the impression that even with dedicated projects,
Paul> people don't want to invest in learning how to use a wiki. So
That's true, but less and less so due to blogs - most blogs are just
wiki's in disguise, with much more limited access. Political parties are
using them with people who can't manage to use hotmail, let alone
outlook :-)
Paul> for this one person who got Vendor XYZ to work with freeswan,
Paul> he might mail the list with his information, but he won't try
Paul> and use the wiki.
If he doesn't report, he doesn't report.
What I find is that when I google for things on the network, I find
hundreds of obsolete reports that don't work anymore. The wiki permits
them to be updated.
