[Openswan Users] scp over an openswan tunnel hangs

The MTU is currently set at 1460 (the endpoint is an ADSL connection via 
PPPoE).

Will it cause problems if the MTU outgoing is different to the MTU 
arriving on the box (over which I have no control)?
