[Openswan Users] ipsec0 and kernel 2.6

Hi all,

I notice that when I start openswan under RHEL3's v2.4 kernel that has 
v2.6 bits backported, no ipsec0 interface appears under ifconfig.

No error messages are reported saying that "due to error XXX, ipsec0 not 
created", and when openswan is started and stopped, messages are logged 
to say that interface eth0/eth0 has been shut down (normally it says 
ipsec0/eth0 is shut down).

Is this an error condition, or just normal openswan behaviour?
