[Openswan Users] kernel 2.4.26 + Openswan 2.1.4 + net-snmp-5.1 = Kernel Oops

Hi,

I'm a longtime user of freeswan/superfreeswan; now I tried to use 
openswan when setting up a new box.

Problem: snmp daemon triggers a kernel oops when ipsec is configured on 
the box.

Same box, same kernel with super-freeswan-1.99.8 works without a problem.

Looking at the archives, this problem has been observed a few times by 
several users, but so far there does not seem to be a fix available?

Is the problem known/worked on already or could you yuse more info to 
help track it down (decoded kernel oops, strace of snmp daemon, whatever).
