[Openswan Users] Openswan/ipsec vs. OpenVPN

Hello!
I am quite new to VPNs and encryption. And i was wondering what the
diffrence between OpenVPN and Openswan is?!

I found OpenVPn quite easy to set up, although, it lacks a bit with
point2multipoint.

Was Openswan especially made to connect to gateways? Or can Road
Warriors be used just the same way?

And is there a proper document for OpensWan/IPsec which walks you trough
a setup or something?
