[Openswan Users] unregister_netdevice error (not Openswan)

Hi folks-

Sorry for the bad subject:.  :)

I've been a user of FreeSWAN for some time now, but started noticing a
bug with pcmcia use since somewhere in the 2.x release cycle.  I found a
thread online by someone with the same issues, suggesting they had found
the conflict in the code, somewhere around 2.02.  It still exists as of
2.04.

Anyways, the problem manifests itself anytime a pcmcia/FreeSWAN user
attempts to unload the card... manually or via shutdown.  The system
refuses to "let go", and an "unregister_netdevice" message scrolls
slowly down the console (once every 10-15 secs or so).  A hard shutdown
is the only way to continue.  Here is a good summary:

Is anyone familiar with this issue?  If so, and this has been exorcised
from the Openswan base, I'd love to try it out!  Even if it hasn't, I'll
be happy to help solve it however I can, assuming it even exists in
Openswan.
