Greetings, just joined the list today and had my first problem with
IPSec much earlier than I wanted. :)

I installed using the norm:

# make programs
# make install

Which was all fine and good.

# ipsec verify

Shows everything but the program installation failed. I traced the
problem back to my kernel which I compiled from sources from
www.kernel.org. I realise that I didn't add IPSec support (into the
kernel or as a module) and clearly this needs to be done! I went back
to my kernel sources, loaded my old config into menuconfig and
proceeded to complete fail at finding IPSec support on the list!

Which section is IPSec support under?

thanks for listening
mark
